Monday, July 29th, 2024: Eric was featured in the Falcon’s Creative Group podcast Experience Imagination speaking about the power of Fandom with industry experts Gary Pope (Kids Industries) and Jeff Gomez (Starlight Runner).
Tuesday, Oct. 10th, 2023: Eric was one of the Executives in attendance at the bell-ringing at NASDAQ as Falcon’s Beyond took the incredible step forward of going public.
Thursday, May 18th, 2023: Eric was one of the featured guests and speakers a the yearly SIKAP Creative Content festival this year held on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. There, he also judged a pitch competition made up of local Filipino-only contestants.
Wednesday, May 5th, 2021: Eric spoke to 90 students at the Orange County School of the Arts about his life path through animation and advised them on some basics about creating and nurturing their original intellectual properties.
Thursday, April 8th, 2021: Eric joined industry veterans John Evershed, Dan Sarto, and Chris Robinson in a ToonBoom sponsored seminar on Twitch to talk about the Industry of Adult Animation.
Surviving Animation with Eric Calderon. In this 3 hour intensive Zoom workshop, Eric delved into the current state of the animation industry, the basics of developing for the various genres of TV animation, the new sub-genres, and then constructing a ‘package’ as well as a show bible and pitch proposals. Webinar speaker for Animahenasyon (Philippines)
Eric Calderon was the featured webinar speakers at the 14th annual Animahenasyon, hosted by the Animation Council o fthe Philippines (ACPI). The festival highlights Filipino talent and also includes a competition for aspiring and professional animators plus screening of commercial and independent content. The theme for this year is ‘The Celebration of the 20th.’ The subject for Eric’s webinar is TBD (as of 10/26/20).

Keynote Speaker at Malaysia’s Kre8tif2020 Festival
Eric Calderon will be the keynote speaker at one of Southeast Asia’s premiere digital content festival hosted and organized by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). Eric’s topic will be ‘How South East Asia will create the next global animated hit.’

Judge for IdeaToon2020
Eric Calderon was among a jury of 6 senior animation industry professionals gathered to judge contestants for the annual Pixelatl Animation Festival competition IdeaToon 2020. Normally held in Cuernavaca, Pixelatl is the premiere animation festival of Mexico.
Eric Calderon gave a 2 hour lecture at the mostly-professional-artists attended class on the basics of animation development. He also gave tips on bible production and pitching techniques as well as fielded questions and answers from students about their particular proposals.
